Yemen is in Crisis.

Make a Difference

Yemen has the world's highest rate of childhood malnutrition...

Food is their answer.

Yemen is facing one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises. After an eight-year conflict that devastated the country, 80% of the country live in poverty.

But food is their answer.

With regular school meals, the children of Yemen can enjoy the nutrition they desperately need to grow up healthily. Attending school on a full stomach allows them to focus on their studies and achieve an education to unlock a brighter future.

Asraar's School Offered Her a Lifeline.

With a struggling economy, life is hard for the 80% of Yemenis who live below the poverty line.

Meet Asraar, a nine year old girl with eight siblings.

Asraar’s family have been struggling for the last few years; her father’s disability stops him getting work and her mother looks after their deaf sister.

With empty stomachs and no relief in sight, things got so bad that her two older brothers dropped out of school to work. It looked like things would never get better for Asraar’s family.

Food is her answer.

With Charity Right’s school meals, Asraar enjoys a nutritious and well-balanced meal each day while she gets an education to change her life. Meanwhile, this alleviates the financial burden on her family, allowing their money to go further.
