The Crisis in Sudan is Getting Worse this Ramadan.

Acute hunger is decimating the children of Sudan...

Food is their answer.

Sudan’s civil war has been on and off for decades – but it’s the children who have suffered the most. Each day, you can be sure that there are at least 650,000 children suffering from acute malnutrition. Without aid, half of them will die…

That’s why food is their answer.

With regular school meals, Sudanese children can avoid malnutrition and have the chance to grow up healthily. Attending school on a full stomach, they’re able to focus on their studies to achieve the education they need for a brighter future.

Tarteel's School Offered Her a Lifeline.

With 1 in 3 people in Sudan having to flee their homes to survive, there’s a desperate need for housing. Fortunately, some children have plans to solve that problem – they just need a chance.

Meet 14-year-old Tarteel, who lives with her mother and four siblings.

Without a father to help bring in much-needed income, the family went hungry. It became difficult for Tarteel to have enough energy to focus on her studies and finish her education.

Food is her answer.

With regular and nutritious school meals, Tarteel now has the opportunity to grow up healthily, achieving her dream of becoming an architectural engineer, helping restore her country and helping her community.
