Together, we bring Meals & School to the ummah's children

Most vulnerable kids are not in school because finding food is more important. Our schools not only provide hearty meals daily, but open a path to further education ❤️

The goal of Charity Right is to build a healthier, stronger ummah. There are Muslim children across the globe with nothing to eat, pulling rickshaws, and sleeping on the streets . Imagine if those same children became doctors, engineers, and sheikhs of the ummah. That’s our vision.
We have six areas of focus: children in slums, refugee children, girls education, and Hifz.

We have schools in  Bangladesh, Malawi, and a variety of refugee schools in Malaysia with children from Palestine, Myanmar, Sudan, and more

Yes – we are a fully certified and zakat eligible charity.

Nope. We 100% understand how irritating random emails can be. We intend to send only 1) your donation receipts, 2) your end of the year receipts, and 3) updates relevant to the project you donated to (you can opt out of updates in a simple click, as well)

Our Meals + School Model

School is way out of poverty for many children.
Much of the ummah doesn’t have that option because a day in a classroom means they can’t lay bricks for 12 hours in exchange for a bowl of rice.
If a school, however, provided meals – meals which encompass all of their dietary needs – what would happen?
That’s where we come in.
We partner with schools to ensure government education standards are met, and then every day we make
hearty, nutritious school meals for the kids – making education a true option.

Hi, my name is Riaz

Hi, my name is Riaz

I remember the first time I saw a big piece of meat – it was after Dad died.

He was a shopkeeper in Gozzania. Mom didn’t work because she was sick so he took care of all of us — me, my mom, my brother, and my two sisters.

I know he got a heart sickness and I know that he couldn’t live with that sickness.

After he died, I wasn’t doing so well. None of us.

It was around then when I found Charity Right.

Me and the other kids entered the madrasah on the first day.

Another kid sat down across from me, and then the Charity Right people started handing out food!

We were so surprised: there in front of us was this big, huge piece of meat! I thought we must all be sharing it, but they kept handing out plates.

Pretty soon everyone had one. All of us got a whole piece of meat!

I go to the madrasah every weekday now. I’m learning a lot and school is fun 🙂

Thank You!
